That’s TV is to broadcast the classic sitcom You Rang M’lord, created by Croft and Perry.

What is You Rang M’lord?

You Rang M’lord was first broadcast on BBC One between 1988 and 1993, running for 26 episodes over four series. Set in a 1920s London household, the sitcom follows the interactions and class struggles between the aristocratic Meldrum family and their servants. The cast included Paul Shane, Jeffrey Holland, Su Pollard, Donald Hewlett and Michael Knowles.

The series was created and written by Jimmy Perry and David Croft.  The duo also created the sitcoms Dad’s Army (1968–1977), It Ain’t Half Hot Mum (1974–1981) and Hi-De-Hi (1980–1988).

The Progression of That’s TV

That’s TV has developed quite considerably over the last few years, showing just a couple of classic shows to compiling an entire evening’s schedule. Other shows on the schedule include Steptoe and Son, Benidorm, and Are You Being Served Again (Grace and Favour).

That’s TV broadcasts a number of classic TV shows, documentaries and music videos. The main channel can be found on Freeview (56), Sky (171), Virgin (150), Freesat (178) and via local services in 20 areas (7/8).

That’s TV will be airing episodes daily, starting on Friday the 5th of July at 6:45pm.
