That’s TV to Broadcast No Place Like Home

British channel That’s TV has announced its intention to broadcast the 1980s sitcom No Place Like Home, starring William Gaunt and Patricia Garwood. This coincides with a current anniversary run on BBC Four.

Jon Watkins created No Place Like Home, broadcast on the BBC between 1983 and 1987; It ran for 43 episodes over 5 series. The show revolved around Beryl (Garwood) and Arthur (Gaunt) Crabtree, and their four children who still have a connection to home. The Crabtree’s nosey neighbours, The Bottings, also create many comedic situations. This latest announcement joins the many classic sitcoms broadcast by That’s TV in the last two years. Other shows include Goodnight Sweetheart, The Brittas Empire, After Henry, Steptoe and Son and Bread. The channel has previously broadcast Christmas specials of No Place Like Home.
