That’s TV 2 to air Prisoner Cell Block H

That’s TV 2 is to air classic episodes of the Australian Drama Prisoner Cell Block H. This follows the recent arrival of the show on My5 and Pluto TV.

The series first aired on Network Ten in 1979, running for 692 episodes over 8 seasons until 1986. It was initially broadcast on ITV in the UK before being shown on Channel 5 later. A reimagining of the series, entitled Wentworth, began in 2012.

That’s TV 2 will launch on the 3rd of January, and will continue the main channel’s recent form of classic shows. The first batch of programming includes Baywatch, Humans and Home and Away There will also be reruns of Blankety Blank and The Likely Lads, which air on the main channel.

Prisoner Cell Block H will begin on That’s TV 2 on the 3rd of January, airing around 11pm each night. Please see upcoming channel schedules for more information.
