Four Just Men Coming To Talking Pictures

Archive British channel Talking Pictures TV has announced they will broadcast the ITC series Just Four Men, starting in January 2023. This announcement follows the recent broadcasts of classic series including Budgie, Maigret, The Saint, The Onedin Line and Edward Woodward’s In Suspicious Circumstances on the channel.

The show was initially broadcast on ITV for one season of thirty-nine episodes in 1959. It was produced by Sapphire Films for ITC Entertainment. Its cast included Richard Conte, Jack Hawkins, Vittorio De Sica and Dan Dailey. The series was based on books by Edgar Wallace.

Loosely based on the novel by Edgar Wallace, this series starred: Jack Hawkins (The Cruel Sea), Richard Conte (The Godfather) and Oscar nominees Vittorio de Sica and Dan Dailey as the four men who have sworn to pursue justice and defeat tyranny worldwide. Their regular co-stars included Honor Blackman, Lisa Gastoni, June Thorburn and Andrew Keir. Guest stars included: Judi Dench, Alan Bates, Jane Asher, Donald Pleasence, Oliver Reed, Fenella Fielding, Brenda De Banzie, Patrick Troughton, Jess Conrad, Robert Shaw and many more. Each of the protagonists appeared in turn, in separate episodes.

Four Just Men will begin on Talking Pictures TV on Saturday 7th January at 9.05 pm, continuing every week on the same day and time.
