Classic Films Added to MGM Amazon Channel This Week

Here at Old Time Review, we like to update you on classic pre-1980 films which are available to view on streaming services. According to JustWatch, a dozen titles were added to the MGM Amazon Prime channel this week.

The films added include:

  1. The Great Escape (1963) – Starring Steve McQueen, James Garner and Richard Attenborough et al.
  2. A Bridge Too Far (1977) – Starring a huge cast including Dirk Bogarde, James Caan, Michael Caine, Sean Connery, Edward Fox, Elliott Gould, Anthony Hopkins, Gene Hackman, Hardy Kr├╝ger, Laurence Olivier, Ryan O’Neal, Robert Redford, Maximilian Schell and Liv Ullmann. Directed by Richard Attenborough with a screenplay by William Goldman.
  3. Dogs of War (1980) – Starring Christopher Walken.
  4. Breakheart Pass (1975) – Starring Charles Bronson, Ben Johnson, Richard Crenna, and Jill Ireland.
  5. Duck, You Sucker! (Also known as A Fistful of Dynamite) (1971) – Directed by Sergio Leone.
  6. The Horse Soldiers (1959) – Starring John Wayne and William Holden.
