Classic Films Added to MGM Amazon Channel This Week

Here at Old Time Review, we like to update you on classic pre-1980 films which are available to view on streaming services. According to JustWatch, a dozen titles were added to the MGM Amazon Prime channel this week.

The films added include:

  1. The Great Escape (1963) – Starring Steve McQueen, James Garner and Richard Attenborough et al.
  2. A Bridge Too Far (1977) – Starring a huge cast including Dirk Bogarde, James Caan, Michael Caine, Sean Connery, Edward Fox, Elliott Gould, Anthony Hopkins, Gene Hackman, Hardy Krüger, Laurence Olivier, Ryan O’Neal, Robert Redford, Maximilian Schell and Liv Ullmann. Directed by Richard Attenborough with a screenplay by William Goldman.
  3. Dogs of War (1980) – Starring Christopher Walken.
  4. Breakheart Pass (1975) – Starring Charles Bronson, Ben Johnson, Richard Crenna, and Jill Ireland.
  5. Duck, You Sucker! (Also known as A Fistful of Dynamite) (1971) – Directed by Sergio Leone.
  6. The Horse Soldiers (1959) – Starring John Wayne and William Holden.
