Disney+ has announced a September promotional offer for all new and eligible returning subscribers of their streaming platform in the UK. Running for two weeks from the sixth of September, this gives an opportunity to try the service at a vastly lower price a month for three months. This offer comes a couple of months before the launch of an ad-supported tier in the UK.
Disney+ is home to many original productions, including The Bear, Only Murders in the Building (featuring Steve Martin and Martin Short) and a number of series from the Star Wars and Marvel universes. There are also new and upcoming premieres from Disney, Pixar, Twentieth Century Studios and National Geographic.
The streaming service contains a large selection of titles from Disney’s 100-year history including a nearly complete animated library plus live-action classics such as The Parent Trap (1961), Mary Poppins (1964), The Love Bug (1969), Freaky Friday (1976) and so much more. In addition, there are many shorts from classic Disney characters including Mickey, Donald, Pluto, Goofy and Oswald. We have written about the various films available in a previous blog. The Star tab houses a large number of TV and movie titles from the back catalogues of Twentieth Century, Touchstone Pictures, Hollywood Pictures and ABC Studios.
From the sixth to the twentieth of September, new and returning customers in the UK can subscribe to Disney+ for £1.99/month for three months. This is an £18 saving compared to the regular monthly price for three months by visiting www.disneyplus.com.
