Man About the House spin-off Robin’s Nest has been added in full to streaming service ITVX. Starring Richard O’Sullivan, the series ran for 6 series, comprising 48 episodes, including Christmas Specials. All of these are now available in full to stream for free on ITVX.
Robin’s Nest was a spin-off from 1970s classic sitcom Man About the House, also starring Richard O’Sullivan, this time alongside Paula Wilcox, Sally Thomsett, Brian Murphy and Yootha Joyce.
The spin-off follows O’Sullivan’s character Robin as he reluctantly embarks on a new business venture with his girlfriend’s father, played by Tony Britton. O’Sullivan’s real-life girlfriend (later wife) Tessa Wyatt played Vicky.
Robin’s Nest was produced by Thames Television from 1977 to 1981 and aired on ITV. It was one of two spin-offs from Man About the House. The other was George and Mildred which followed the landlord and -lady in Man About the House as they moved into a more well-off neighbourhood.
