The Bruce Forsyth Show headed to DVD

Network DVD has announced its intention to release existing episodes of the 1960s variety show, The Bruce Forsyth Show. This move follows the recent launch of the company’s streaming platform, which offered premium ‘night in’ selections from the ABC archive, available to watch online.

Following his successful stint as compere on Sunday Night at the London Palladium, ABC’s The Bruce Forsyth Show and ran on ITV between 1965 and 1969.

Mixing music, dancing, and sketch comedy in the time-honored tradition, ABC’s The Bruce Forsyth Show focussed on laughter, glamour and big-name guests, including Frankie Howerd, Cilla Black, Dudley Moore (and his Trio), Tommy Cooper, Douglas Fairbanks Jr, Diana Dors, Kathy Kirby, Julie Rogers, Harry Secombe and more!

This 3-disc release contains every show that remains from the light entertainment series alongside the 1965 Christmas special and the incomplete Frankie Howerd edition from 1966.

The Bruce Forsyth Show will be available from Network DVD from the 19th of October 2020.
