Patsy and Loretta Removed From Disney+

On the fourth of December 2023, 2019 biopic Patsy and Loretta was removed from on Disney+ in the UK. The title was first added in April of this year.

The film is based on the true life friendship between music legends Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn. Patsy and Loretta chronicles Loretta’s entrance into the music industry in Nashville, when Patsy was already established. Cline took Lynn under her wing and the two formed a close friendship. It follows their individual stories, touching on their histories, struggles and demons, as well as the ways they helped and supported each other.

The film stars Megan Hilty as Patsy Cline and Jessie Mueller as Loretta Lynn. The director is Callie Khouri, who is well known both for projects surrounding the Nashville music business and crafting stories about strong female partnerships.

It was made by Sony Pictures Television for Lifetime. A number of Sony owned titles have recently been removed from the Disney+ worldwide. is unknown whether this title will return to the platform.
