It has been announced that a new retro themed channel is to be launched in the UK. Primarily focused on screening shows from the 50s to the 80s, RetroTV (unrelated to similarly named American networks) will launch an online channel via Kapang.

RetroTV is pleased to announce that we have struck a deal with Kapang, meaning that we will be streaming on their platform at https://tv.kapang.com/tv and will also be carried on Roku, FireTV, Google Play, Samsung Smart TV, Apple TV, and Android TV. So, you can watch if you have a smartphone, tablet, or TV. These will be the platforms you can find us on in the early days, as we are also in talks to stream through various cable providers shortly.

It is unclear what will be shown on the channel at present, so we shall endeavour to report on this when the information becomes available.

Kapang TV is an online live TV streaming platform, which is available in both free and paid versions. It is run by View TV group.

Further details on RetroTV can be found on both Twitter and Facebook. A date for launch hasn’t been announced yet, but it is expected to occur in April or May 2023.
