That’s TV will broadcast the comedy game show Blankety Blank, starting with the first episode.
Blankety Blank first appeared on UK screens in 1979 on the BBC. Hosted by Terry Wogan and features a whole host of household names from Roy Kinnear and Paul Daniels to Kenny Everett and Lorraine Chase. Les Dawson would later take over presenting duties. In recent years, Lilly Savage and Bradley Walsh have hosted.
Starting on Saturday at 7:45pm, the first episode of the 1979 series will be broadcast on That’s TV; The second episode airs around the same time on Sunday. It is unknown whether more episodes will follow, as they’re not scheduled for weekdays. We will update when more details become available.
This new addition follows a number of new archive programming recently shown on That’s TV. Recently, viewers have been treated to comedy classics including Never the Twain, Fresh Fields and Till Death Us Do Part.
