BBC4 Set to End Come Dancing Reruns

According to upcoming schedules for BBC4, the channel is set to end its run of classic Come Dancing episodes. The last episode in the current run will be the 1977 grand final on the 19th of March. After this, a run of Francesco’s Italy: Top to Toe will be broadcast.

Reruns of the ballroom dancing series began on new year’s day of this year, and has since become a popular topic on social media. Previously broadcast episodes, hosted by Terry Wogan, have included the entire 1979 series, 1974 final and select episodes from 1977.

It is officially unknown why the reruns will end, but it is most likely to do with the availability of episodes.
