Vintage Movies Added to Streaming This WeekV

The following is a list of vintage movies (pre-1970) which were made available on streaming services this week. Please note that this list applies to services in the UK.

  • Attack On The Iron Coast (1968) – My5
  • The Cruel Sea (1953) – BBC IPlayer
  • Trial of Robin Hood (1950) – Plex
  • Trigger, Jr. (1950) – Plex
  • Twilight in the Sierras (1950) – Plex
  • The Holly and the Ivy (1952) – Channel 4
  • The Fastest Gun Alive (1956) – My5
  • Gunfight at Red Sands (1963) – Plex
  • Five Minutes to Love (1963) – Plex
  • Wake of the Red Witch (1949) – Channel 4
  • Decision at Sundown (1957) – Channel 4

WHAT I MIGHT WATCH: There looks to be plenty of Western action in this week’s choice of new arrivals, and all are available to stream free with ads! While Plex might not be too well known, it is becoming a haven for fans of more obscure vintage cinema. I’m pretty intrigued by Five Minutes to Love, an early role for Rue McClanahan. I also may take a look at The Cruel Sea, an Ealing Studios war film starring Jack Hawkins and Donald Sinden et al.

Please note that these movies may only be available for a limited time on any platform; On services such as ITVX, All4 and BBC IPlayer, some movies expire after 30 days.

We would like to credit JustWatch, BBC IPlayer, Channel 4 and My5 for the information on streaming title additions.
