In this video, Jamie Dyer reacts to the news that Fabulous Films will release the complete series of Cosgrove Hall’s Count Duckula on DVD!
Count Duckula was a spin-off from another Cosgrove Hall production, Danger Mouse. Produced by Thames Television, it starred David Jason—the voice of Danger Mouse and The BFG—as the titular character. Brian Trueman and Jack May provided the voices of Nanny and Igor respectively. The show debuted in 1988 and spanned 65 episodes across four series.
Barry Clayton narrated the series, with additional voices provided by David Jason, Jimmy Hibbert, Ruby Wax, Brian Truman, and Jack May. The catchy opening and closing themes were composed by Mike Harding. The complete series of Count Duckula will be available on DVD from the 3rd of June 2024.
