On Sunday 11th June 2023, the 1980s music panel show Pop Quiz will see an airing on British terrestrial channel BBC4.
The guests appearing in Sunday night’s rerun episode are Phil Collins, Colin Moulding, Bill Bruford, Suzi Quatro and Geoff Deane.
Pop Quiz originally ran from 1981 to 1984 on BBC1, with several follow-up series in later years. Hosted by Mike Read, the popular BBC Radio presenter, the show consisted of several rounds questioning the big names in the music industry on all things Popular Music.
The format of Pop Quiz feels very much like that of A Question of Sport, another BBC television panel show.
At this time it is unclear if it is a one-off showing or whether it might be added to BBC4‘s regular Sunday night schedule. We will update when this information becomes available.
