Jamie’s Reaction
This is a cute little sitcom from the vaults of Yorkshire Television at ITV. Its nice to see it given a platform on Talking Pictures. Any one who enjoyed For the Love of Ada may find similar nostalgic charm in this series, especially with Are You Being Served‘s Mollie Sugden in the lead. The characters, once you get to know them, have a magnetic pull that is hard to resist!
This series could be a grower for some viewers, it may not immediately hit. Give it a chance once the premise has been realised, and you may be rewarded!

This enjoyed a run a year or few back on ITV3. Mildly entertaining, Sugden at her best. TRIVIA: Christopher Blake was once in the audience of a 1970 recording of “Top of the Pops”
